What to see and do in La Baronia de Rialb
La Baronia de Rialb is located in the pre-Pyrenean area of Lleida, in the region of La Noguera. It is the ideal place to relax and enjoy outdoor adventures with your family and/or friends. It is one of the municipalities with the least light pollution in the whole Iberian Peninsula, so you can imagine what a beautiful place it is!
It is an area that was very important, mainly during the Middle Ages and during the Spanish Civil War. Throughout the Baronia de Rialb there are some 23 Romanesque churches, many fortified villas, monasteries, towers and castles. Come and discover all that this municipality has to offer.

Places of interest in the Barony of Rialb and surrounding area
As we have already mentioned, this is a place with a lot of historical heritage. So, here are the places you cannot miss.
- Rialb reservoir: a large reservoir that belongs to the rivers Segre, Rialb and Ribera Salada.
- Forat de Bulí: one of the most spectacular gorges in the area. Located in the northern part of the Baronia de Rialb.
- Gualter: a small village with a lot of charm. There you will find the well-known Monastery of Santa Maria de Gualter, built because it is near the river Segre, and during the Middle Ages it was a famous pilgrimage route.
- Dolmen de Sòls de Riu or Dolmen dels Tres Pilars: an impressive prehistoric megalithic site.
- Politg: a small village where a Gothic altarpiece (14th century), formerly belonging to the church of Sant Iscle i Santa Victòria de la Torre, is preserved.
- Tiurana: a small village in the region of La Noguera, near the Barony of Rialb, with a lot to offer. You will fall in love with every corner.

In this municipality you will find a perfect and beautiful rural house for you and your family or friends: Casa dels Peixos. It is an accommodation that allows the stay of up to 16 people, and guarantees comfort and rest for all of them. We are right in the heart of the Baronia de Rialb, so there is no better place to stay.
This house consists of two floors of 200m2. On the first floor there is a nice hall, two bedrooms with private bathrooms, and a wonderful games room. On the first floor is the dining room (with enough space to accommodate 16 guests, and also with direct access to the outside), the spacious kitchen and 6 more bedrooms also with private bathrooms. All the rooms in the house are equipped with sheets and duvets. As we aim to offer maximum comfort, the outside area of the house is fenced. On the outside grounds there is a swimming pool with sun loungers, a private lake where you can fish, a barbecue, and plenty of space that can be used as a private car park.

The main objective of Casa dels Peixos is to offer the best service, and this is one of the reasons why we also offer to prepare a paella or grilled meat for you and yours. We want to ensure a comfortable and peaceful stay, and to finish it off there is nothing like a good meal.
Other activities to do in Baronia de Rialb
As well as visiting the whole Baronia de Rialb area, at Casa dels Peixos you will find lots of other things to do. We offer yoga classes for groups, as well as a two-hour cooking workshop. In the house, there is also a games room equipped with a ping-pong table, table football and other games suitable for everyone. We would also like to remind you that the house is located in the middle of nature, so you are also free to do any outdoor sport.
